About this site

247 Plumbers Nearby exists to answer one question well: a pipe just failed, it's late, what now?

We are a referral directory, not a plumbing contractor. Nobody here will show up with a wrench. We publish what to do in the first ten minutes, who actually runs the water where you live, and honest lines between DIY and pro work. When you call or submit a request through this site, you're connected to an independent licensed plumber, not to us.

Who's behind it

The site is published by the team behind FourHome, a line of aftermarket plumbing repair parts sold on Amazon. We also run stemsandcartridges.com, a part-number index for faucet stems and cartridges. When a guide here links a FourHome part or that index, that's us linking to ourselves, and we label it every time.

Our rules for ourselves

• Every statistic, utility number and local fact cites the agency or utility that published it, in a sources list on the page.
• No fake reviews, ratings, testimonials or response-time promises, ours or anyone's.
• Sponsored placements are labeled sponsored.
• Safety first in every guide, and the gas page says what every gas utility says: leave first, call from outside.
• We tell you when not to DIY, even though we sell DIY parts.

Corrections

Utilities reorganize and numbers change. If something here is out of date, use the contact form and we'll fix it against the source.
